Because the material has some of the features of the ceramics and some of the plastics, being plastic, the first thing that I did was to understand the material, its advantages, disadvantages and properties, to do that I started to ask: What can I do with Ultradur B4300 M12 that I cannot do with ceramics and other plastics?

Porque el material tiene algunas de las características de la cerámica y algunas de los plásticos, siendo este un plástico, lo primero que hice fue entender el material, sus ventajas, desventajas y propiedades, y para hacer esto empece preguntando: Que puedo hacer con Ultradur B4300 M12 que no puedo hacer con cerámica y otros plásticos?

After the observation, three main questions arose, and their answers showed the requirements of the product.

Después de la observación surgieron tres preguntas principalmente, y sus respuestas mostraron los requerimientos del producto.

- Which plug I need to disconnect?

- Can the product show it to me?

- Can the number of sockets increase?

Using these questions as inspiration and as a starting point, I started the development of different proposals and to brainstorm around different concepts.

Con estas preguntas como inspiración y punto de partida, empecé el desarrollo de distintas propuestas y el brainstorming de distintos conceptos.

After understanding some of the characteristics that could be included in the product I started to brain storming through 2D and 3D sketching.

The first mock ups were made out of wood, and they were made to demonstrate shape, size, general features, etc.

Los primeros modelos fueron hechos en madera para poder demostrar forma, tamano, caracteristicas generales, etc.

Once defined the aesthetical and functional qualities of the product, I carry on and model tridimensionally in Rhino to produce a rapid prototyping.

Una vez definida las cualidades esteticas y funcionales del producto, continue con la modelación tridimensional en Rhino para poder hacer un prototipado rápido.
