Georges completed his BA in Industrial Design at Universidad de Los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia (1999 - 2003). He set-up his own design studio, Tactil Design, where he worked during the four following years, developing projects for a wide range of clients, including both products and furniture. Main clients have included TransMilenio - the public transportation authority - for which he developed a product that is currently used in Bogota's local transportation system, Trazo.
In 2007 he travelled to London, where he first worked at Fusion Design and then was accepted to the Royal College of Art, where he attended the Master Degree in Product Design. There he spent his first year in Platform 10 with Daniel Charny and Roberto Feo as tutors, and his second year in Platform 12 with Sam Hecht, Durrell Bishop and André Klauser as tutors.
In 2009, after graduating from the RCA, he moved to Barcelona, from where he is currently developing new projects and looking for a full time job as an industrial designer.
Georges terminó su carrera en Diseño Industrial en la Universidad de Los Andes en Bogotá, Colombia (1999 - 2003). Luego, montó su propio estudio de diseño, Tactil Design, en el que trabajó por cuatro años desarrollando proyectos tanto de diseño de productos como de mobiliario para un amplio rango de clientes. Entre sus principales clientes incluyó TransMilenio la empresa de transporte de Bogotá, para la que desarrolló el sistema Trazo que se encuentra actualemente en uso en algunas de sus estaciones.
En el año 2007 viajó a Londres donde primero trabajó en Fusion Design y luego fue aceptado en el Royal College of Art, donde hizo el master de Diseño de productos. Ahí, pasó su primer año en la Plataforma 10 con Daniel Charny y Roberto Feo como tutores, y su segundo año en la Plataforma 12 con Sam Hecht, Durrell Bishop y André Klauser como tutores.
En el año 2009, después de graduarse del RCA, se muda a la cuidad de Barcelona de donde actualmente se encuentra desarrollando nuevos proyectos y en búsqueda de un trabajo de tiempo completo como diseñador industrial.
